Born in Lincolnshire in 1982 Jamie Blackbourn had a love for art from an early age. It was through this love that his passion for portraits came to life. Although no formal training ever took place the urge to draw and paint still remained.
Whilst holding down a full time job, Jamie took commissions for pencil and oil portraits in his spare time until he decided to pursue his lifelong passion and turn it into a career.
Jamie started tattooing portraits in 2014 and his artwork flourished, he found that tattooing and painting went hand in hand and each enhanced the other; opening his eyes to various styles from the masters to contemporary.
His love for perfection within chaos is portrayed throughout his artwork.
